How to be confident about saying Yes to the Dress:

One important detail to remember is that you will look back at your photo album over the years.  How do you want to feel?  Choose a dress that makes you happy and that makes you feel confident that you’ll love the way you look on your wedding day and for years to come.  Your dress should make you feel like a bride and it will be the one you can envision yourself walking down the aisle to meet your fiancé in.

Most important thing to pay attention to at your fitting:

Comfort.  You will spend several hours in your dress.  If you’re going to be dancing all night, you’ll want to make sure that your dress allows for enough movement.  Do the sit test during your fitting.

What is the most common mistakes that brides make when shopping for a wedding dress?

The most common mistake that brides make when shopping for their dress is bringing too many people whose opinions leave her feeling overwhelmed and unaccomplished.  To get the most from your bridal appointment, bring people whose opinions are honest and who you value the most.  This is your moment.

My favorite things and must haves:

You must have a wedding buddy.  Designate a person who will keep you focused on the day’s activities and who is able to coordinate with your wedding vendors (photographers, florists, planner, etc.) on your behalf.  This person is ideally someone whom you have brought to your fittings and who can assist with your bustle and other wedding details including assisting you during bathroom breaks.
